Stephen Wood asists with a diverse selection of Multi-disiplinary Design Optimization projects. His main interests are in design methods, modeling, and optimization.

He is the Vice Chair for External Affairs of the FIU ASME Student Chapter. He is also a member of International Society for Inverse Problems in Science and Engineering, and the American institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics.
