Mr. Souma Chowdhury has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. N. Chakraborti and Dr. S. Chakraborty on Optimization of Separation Efficiency of a Hydrocyclone, a joint project of the Mechanical Engineering Dept. and the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Dept., IIT Kharagpur, India, funded by the Tata Iron and Steel Company, RnD Division, Jamshedpur. He is presently working as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Development and Application of Single- and Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithms at the Maidroc Lab, FIU, under Dr. G. S. Dulikravich. Through this research he has also gained experience in Computational Fluid Flow and Thermal Analysis of Engineering Systems.
