Alberto Hernándezwas a member of the MAIDROC Laboratory from 2005-2007. Alberto's research work was primarily focused on optimization of parameter estimation models. He spent a summer at The Pennsylvania State University ARL, where he worked on meshing codes and CFD analysis of gear systems. He also took part in the WHIX06 project (FIU Applied Research Center), where he participated in designing and implementing a test rig for high and low head hydroelectric turbines for small scale applications.
